Voter Reg Fraud #3September 13, 2013

Monday, September 9th, the Hamilton County Board of Elections heard the voter challenge of
“The God Devine Refinement Allah.” Mr. Allah, who was registered to vote in Hamilton County in October of 2012, is currently on the voter rolls in precinct Cincinnati 6C.

Based on information presented by the challenger, Mary Siegel and confirmed by Board staff, the Board unanimously agreed that Mr Allah’s voter registration contained the following:

  • Questionable name
  • Fictitious address
  • Fictitious social security number
  • Fictitious birth date
  • Fictitious phone number

Knowing that Mr. Allah is a fraud, the Board DID NOT remove him from the voter rolls but rather voted to challenge him if he tries to vote in the future. REALLY?!? Ohio VIP expected that the non-existent Mr. Allah would be removed from the voter rolls without question.

So why is Mr. Allah still on the rolls? Because the Ohio Secretary of State (SOS) interprets the National Voting Rights Act of 1993 (NVRA) and the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) to require all county Boards of Elections to enter all complete voter registrations onto the voter rolls without regard to the legitimacy of the information provided. In other words, as long as every required field has something written in the box, the registration form will be accepted, entered onto the voter rolls and printed in the signature poll book.

Ohio VIP is outraged by this discovery!

No wonder Ohio has counties with more registered voters than eligible voters. Ohio VIP has yet to find a provision in either law that supports the requirement for the county BOEs to keep verified fraudulent registrations on the voter rolls. We have requested, from the SOS’s legal department, the specific provisions in the law used as a basis for their claim and are still waiting their reply.

For now, Mr.Allah will remain on Ohio’s voter rolls for a minimum of two (2) Federal Election cycles.
