Over the past 2 years Ohio VIP has filed hundreds of voter challenges with the Hamilton County Board of Elections. As a result the BOE purchased new software that gives them the capability of flagging problem addresses in their system. This will prevent new voters from registering at addresses already determined to be not acceptable by law.
The BOE now has the ability to correct these problem addresses with the voter at the time of registration, thus ensuring that the voter votes from their residential address and that they receive voting information from the BOE.
This is a huge step froward in improving the accuracy of our voter rolls. Thank you Hamilton County Board of Elections!
